San Jose, CA: Yeepet.com hosted “My Favorite Pet Profile Contest” sponsored by Dogswell and Evanger’s Dog & Cat Food Company last month and is putting the winner, a television-watching pooch named Otis, in the spotlight. The pet’s owner, Tania, was interviewed about why she chose to adopt an older dog like Otis as well as what makes her pet so special.

Otis enjoys perusing other animal’s profiles on the pet social networking site, and Tania says, “Yeepet is a great place to meet other animal lovers.” The majority of the pet contestants who entered were dogs, but Otis pulled through the pack and received a total of 40 votes.

Otis is a black and white, mixed breed dog who was adopted from PetFinder.  At the young age of two, he enjoys playing with his toy duck and watching shows on television and the Internet, especially when there are animal clips. With Otis’s sweet temper and touching adoption story, it is no surprise why he became Yeepet.com’s favorite pet profile winner.
