Web Series Alum Nabs Katy Perry "My Grammy Moment" Top Prize
CBS.com today announced the winner of the "MY GRAMMY MOMENT" video contest, which were determined by online voters and featured live during Katy Perry’s 51ST ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS performance of “I Kissed a Girl,” that was broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 8 (8:00-11:30 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The 3 finalists, Ilea Matthews (Vallejo, Calif.), Scott Bauman (Napolean, Ohio) and Allison Wheaton (Folsom, Calif.), appeared this morning on the CBS News’ THE EARLY SHOW, (Monday, Feb. 9) as anchor Dave Price revealed the winning video and the $5,000 prize check.
The winning submission stars Ilea Matthews a singer and actress that currently stars in the hit web series, EXIT Stage Left as Violet Parker (series produced by Emerging Artist Productions).
